Ravi Abbineni

Chief Financial Officer

Ravi Abbineni serves as Chief Financial Officer of ION Storage Systems, where he helps guide the company’s financial strategy and scale-up efforts as ION advances toward commercialization of its solid-state battery platform. He joined the company during a period of accelerating momentum, including customer qualification activity and manufacturing expansion. Ravi brings a combination of operational finance, strategic leadership, and capital markets experience developed across large-scale enterprises and growth-oriented businesses.

Prior to joining ION, Ravi served as Chief Financial Officer of JM Family Enterprises, one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, where he oversaw finance, treasury, strategy, and investment activities across a diversified portfolio of businesses. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Citizens Financial Group, JPMorgan Chase & Co., and GE Capital, building experience across banking, commercial finance, enterprise transformation, and capital allocation.

Ravi is particularly interested in businesses navigating major technology and industrial transitions, where disciplined execution and long-term strategic thinking intersect. He holds an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
