We are looking to add a full-time Technical Program Manager to our team in Beltsville, MD. This position reports to the Principal Technical Program Manager and will be responsible for helping manage contract awards, facilitate internal and external communications, and manage early term customer relationships. This candidate must have a background in engineering or physical sciences with 1-2+ years of industrial experience.
Develop a deep understanding of the company's technology.
Manage award requirements and milestones to ensure award eligibility and post-award compliance.
Prepare and update internal communication channels to keep the company at-large up to date!
Help manage external communications to be technically accurate and strategically driven.
Manage periodic technical updates with current and potential partners.
Manage relationships with evaluation customers and facilitate internal workstreams to support evaluation efforts.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences. Example: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, physics, etc.
1-2 years work experience in an industrial non-academic role since graduating undergrad.
Demonstrated instances or experience of technical project/program management.
Experience presenting data graphically and in verbal presentations.
Experience with implementation, testing, validation, certification, or manufacturing or the like of batteries is desirable.
Program management experience is desirable.
Superb communication skills. Able to articulate complicated technical topics into words anyone can understand.
Quick study. Able to rapidly learn new material and understand it inside and out.
Technical aptitude. We are a company that is heavy on technical matters, so we're looking for someone that has dived deep in engineering or physical sciences.
Responsive and responsible. We need this person to be quick to respond to people and be willing to take ownership of tasks to make sure they get done.
High degree of integrity including ability to successfully handle sensitive or confidential information.
Low-ego, team-motivation with collaboration skills across the organization
Department: CTO Office
Location: Hybrid, however expect 2-3 days a week in our Beltsville, MD offices.
