Program Manager Job Description

We are looking to add a full-time Program Manager to our team in Beltsville, MD. This position reports to the Principal Technical Program Manager and will be responsible for helping manage contract awards, standing-up new programs and processes, and facilitate internal and external communications. This candidate must have a direct experience in program management for at least 1-2 years and 3-5 years of work experience.

Responsibilities:

Manage award requirements and milestones to ensure award eligibility and post-award compliance.

Develop and deploy new processes and procedures to keep company programs on track.

Ensure stakeholders are up to date on program status.

Prepare and update internal communication channels to keep the company at-large up to date!

Manage periodic updates with current and potential partners.

Required Experience:

3-5 years work experience in an industrial non-academic role.

Bachelor's degree at a minimum, in a technical field

Demonstrated experience of program management. PMP preferred.

Expert in software tools for tracking projects task tracking, schedule tracking, etc

Required Skills:

Superb communication skills. Able to share program needs and status to anyone and everyone in the company.

Quick study. Able to rapidly learn new material and understand it inside and out.

Technical aptitude. We are a company that is heavy on technical matters, so we're looking for someone that can learn the lingo.

Responsive and responsible. We need this person to be quick to respond to people and be willing to take ownership of tasks to make sure they get done.

High degree of integrity including ability to successfully handle sensitive or confidential information.

Low-ego, team-motivation with collaboration skills across the organization

Department: CTO Office

Location: Hybrid, however expect 2-3 days a week in our Beltsville, MD offices.

Reports to: Principal Technical Program Manager
